Welcome to the website of the Claflin University Non-traditional Undergraduate Program in Continuing Studies and the Degree Completion Program.

Our students are working adults who aspire to begin taking courses on the university level or to continue their university education in order to obtain a degree.

The ratio of success and achievement is high for mature students. Many adult learners fulfill long-held dreams to become business entrepreneurs, lawyers, teachers, adjunct professors or to pursue degrees at the graduate level. As a result of their higher education studies, a large number of our students receive promotions within their existing employment. For some adults, continuing education is an opportunity to pursue interests in academic subjects for the pleasure of learning.

The Continuing Studies Degree Completion Program at Claflin University is fully accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, the South Carolina Board of Education and the University Senate of The United Methodist Church. Currently our program offers a degree in Organizational Management and a degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice Administration.
