Programs
Department of Philosophy and Religion offers two major programs leading to the following degrees:

Philosophy and Religion with a concentration in Philosophy:
Bachelors of Arts (BA) degree with a major in Philosophy and Religion with a concentration in Philosophy
- Philosophy and Religion with a concentration in Religious Studies:
Bachelors of Arts (BA) degree with a major of Philosophy and Religion with a concentration in Religious Studies
The department also offers a minor in Philosophy and Religion.
This is an 18 semester hour minor for students majoring in other areas.
Admission Requirements
Freshman may not apply until after mid-term of the second semester of the freshman year after finishing succcessfully their general education courses.
Students may pick up application forms from the Department.
Program Requirements for the Major in Philosophy and Religion
1. Complete General Education courses, foundation courses, restricted electives, free electives, minor/elective courses with a passing grade.
2. Satisfy requirements for a senior thesis/project.
3. Pass General Education and Senior Exit Examinations.
4. Attend Assembly, Dialogue, Lyceum events and DepartmentalSeminars.
