To be considered for a refund the original receipt must accompany the merchandise.
Textbooks

Textbooks must be returned within ten (10) work days from the purchase date, with the following exception.
- Continuing Studies and Cohort students have five (5) days from purchase date because these class last only five weeks.
- Any textbook that is shrink-wrapped must remain in the shrink-wrap material for refund. Otherwise the textbook is considered used and a used-book price will be refunded.
- Textbook refunds are given to students who withdraw from school after the refund deadline.
- Students who drop classes after the refund deadline should see the manager
Electronics(calculators, video games, stereos, clocks, etc.)
Depending on the product’s manufacturer, refunds are given up to six months from the date of purchase.
Clothing
Fifteen (15) days from date of purchase.

Sale Items
Exchanges only. No cash refunds.
General Merchandise(supplies, book bags, gifts, etc.)
Refunds may be made up to fifteen (15) days from the date of purchase. Certain book bags carry a lifetime warranty, but the customer must keep the paperwork and attachments in order to get a refund or exchange through the manufacturer.
CD’s and DVD’s
Refunds may be made up to five (5) days from purchase date. If the seal is broken or the merchandise shows damages, no refunds will be given
Faculty/Staff Services
All Claflin faculty, staff, and alumni receive 10 percent off selected merchandise every day.
Student Services
The bookstore does offer students special savings throughout the year.
Security
Security is provided by Claflin Department of Public Safety.
Announcements
All announcements will be posted on the web, sent out through e-mail, and posted at the bookstore as events or special occasions arise.
Shipping Policies
The customer is charged UPS ground rate for any purchases that are shipped.
