The way you dress for an interview or to work effects people's impression of you. It's important to convey that you have a business attitude and are professional.
Women
Wear a suit or tailored dress in solid or subtle color, no extreme slits.
Wear polished and closed toe shoes, basic dark pumps with a medium or low heel.
Nails should be clean and not chipped with a subtle color if polished.
Make-up should be minimal.
Wear simple and basic jewelry, one ring per hand with the exception of a wedding set.
Always wear hosiery and keep color neutral.
Use light cologne, if any.
Choose between an attaché case or handbag (not both).
Men
Wear a navy, charcoal gray or pin-striped suit.
Shine shoes. Tassel loafers, wing tip or lace-up shoes are preferred.
Clean nails.
Wear a conservative red or navy tie, simple and neat.
Don a solid white shirt.
Avoid flashy cuff links, rings or necklaces.
Wear over the calf dark socks.
Use no strong fragrant cologne.
