The Claflin University Career Development Office provides comprehensive resources and services for our students and alumni to assist them in meeting their needs relative to career development, career experiences, and employment opportunity for the mutual benefit of employers and the Claflin University community. The Claflin University Career Development Office strives to assist all students in discerning, developing, and pursuing meaningful traditional and non-traditional paths. This is achieved through:

Teaching students and alumni to develop lifelong job search skills and traditional career resources
- Providing leadership and support in the career area to the university, students, and alumni
- Developing positive relationships with employers resulting in student and employer connections
- Supporting institutional outcomes and research endeavors

The Office of Career Development is opened from 8 A.M to 5 P.M. Students are encouraged to visit the Office during those hours to speak to staff, obtain career-related information or to use Career Development computers or the Career Development library.
