The Division of Student Development and Services at Claflin University supports the intellectual, career, personal, social, religious and cultural development of students. As a partner in the educational process at Claflin University, the Division’s mission is to support the academic programs of Claflin University by providing efficient and effective services for the holistic development of students.
Through its programs and services, students develop leadership, participate in university governance, engage in personal and professional development, and community service activities, and are enriched by experiences acquired in ethnically, spiritual, and culturally diverse environments
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the confidentiality of student educational records. It states that the institution will not disclose any personally identifiable information from those records without the written consent of the student.
