Wellness

An established university-wide wellness program has been implemented to enhance healthy living styles of the Claflin Family.

Disability Services

Claflin University is committed to making programs and activities available to qualified students with disabilities. Claflin University also makes efforts to ensure that the university grounds, major buildings and classes are accessible to individuals with disabilities. In compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Claflin University recognizes a person with a disability as anyone who has a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities.

International Students

The major components of international students advising are immigration, new student orientation, career and personal counseling. International student are strongly encourage to purchase personal insurance.


The College urges students to notify Counseling Services of any special accommodation needs at least 30 working days before the first day of class. This notification will help ensure quality and availability of services required. Documentation is required for special accommodations.
