Claflin University also makes efforts to ensure that the university
grounds, major buildings and classes are accessible to individuals with
disabilities. In compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act
of 1973, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Claflin University
recognizes a person with a disability as anyone who has a physical or
mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities.
International
Students
The major components of international
students advising are immigration, new student orientation, career and
personal counseling. International student are strongly encourage to
purchase personal insurance.
