Herman Keith

is a studio artist and art educationist, and has been a member of faculty in the department of Art at Claflin University ( Orangeburg, South Carolina) for over 10 years. Most of his art study was done at the University of Georgia in Athens, where he created a motif that appears in most of his work. His work represents a determination to express his keen awareness of the hardships of the Black man in American history because “the millennial generation needs to know our inventions, innovations, and creative expressions that have been prevented, ignored, or stolen.”
