Dr. Somasundaram Velummylum is an associate professor of mathematics at Claflin. He also serves as the Chairman of the department of Mathematics and Computer Science since 1999. Dr.Velummylum’s recent research interests are on the enhancement of teaching and learning at small liberal arts colleges by the use of the Maple Software. He has presented papers at professional conferences held in the nation as well as internationally.
