We welcome you to the Claflin University Division of Student Development and Services Disability Center. The Student Disabilities Office provides services and support with care and concern to each individual student. Our collaborative approach helps insure hat students with disabilities are able to access and participate in the extraordinary array of opportunities available at Claflin University. We work cooperatively with all Claflin departments to ensure access to facilities and academic, cultural and recreational programs available at Claflin.

A commitment to providing equal access to all academic, social, and cultural programs is consistent with civil rights legislation including section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act 0f 1990.

Disability Services

We are open to questions and inquires from all students at Claflin University. If you are unsure about disclosing your disability, need evaluations that diagnose a disability, or if you need services for an existing disability we would appreciate an opportunity to meet with you.

Wellness

An established university-wide wellness program has been implemented to enhance healthy living styles of the Claflin Family.
