The Office of Testing and Assessment Services
Mission Statement
The Office of Testing and Assessment Services supports all university programs and services in ongoing assessment planning, data gathering, and evaluation of progress towards learning/performance outcomes. The office of Testing and Assessment Services will promote institutional excellence by providing timely and relevant information to support the mission, vision, guiding principles and strategic directions of Claflin University.
Institutional Research
The Assistant Director of Institutional Effectiveness maintains and disseminates institutional data and information in compliance with applicable regulations. Manages the University’s reporting requirement to state, federal and external agencies; responds to internal and external request for institutional data.
Testing and Assessment
The Director and the Assessment and Testing Coordinator administer, coordinate, and analyze recurring assessments. The office performs various aspects of institutional effectiveness accountability requirement s including design, methodology, data collection, analysis and reporting of results utilizing various software packages
