Welcome to Claflin University’s School of Business
Our mission is to provide students, interested in business, with an innovative and industrious learning environment. This is achieved through stimulating interactive classes, extracurricular lectures and programs and outstanding internships.
The School of Business undergraduate and graduate curriculums are nationally accredited by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Our courses and highly qualified, dedicated faculty prepare students to compete and contribute successfully in the dynamic and rapidly evolving world of business and finance. In addition, students receive instruction in communication and interpersonal skills through the Professional Development Program.
The School of Business works closely with the business and finance sector through its Business Advisory Board. The Board encourages global business learning and life-long achievement, emphasizes the value of networking, resourcefulness and innovation.

Business graduates from Claflin University are professionally employed in the corporate, government and on-profit sectors. Several recent graduates have accepted positions on Wall Street and with other highly rated investment firms. These include Goldman, Sachs & Co, Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Bank of America Securities , UBS Investment Bank, M&T Bank’s International Trade Finance Group, 3M Headquarters, UPS Corporate, Walt Disney, GEICO, John Deere Manufacturing Corporation and other investment and financial companies.
