Program Requirements Students entering mathematics and computer science programs must meet standards prescribed by the institution for selecting a major. In addition, students must have a minimum overall grade point averageof 2.5 at the time of acceptance. Students should have taken and passed all major course requirements through the end of the sophomore year. Students may apply for admittance to the Department in their sophomore year. Acceptance will be based upon overall grade point average and performance in all major courses and designated foundation courses taken prior to the time of application.

Application Procedures for Undergraduate Programs A student may major in Mathematics, Computer Science or Management Information Science or Computer Engineering by completing the requirements for the professional program in the chosen major. A major in Mathematics or Computer Science includes an open minor or additional electives. Each student majoring in an area offered by the Department must meet the following requirements:
