DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
The School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Biology at Claflin University. Major responsibilities include daily instruction of courses in the undergraduate and graduate biology program curricula as assigned each semester in accordance with the course syllabi, administration of exams, monitoring of student attendance, submission of final grades and other duties normally associated with course instruction. In addition to teaching, this position requires ongoing compliance with the criteria for faculty performance in research and grantsmanship, faculty development, service to the University and the community, committee participation and other duties as assigned by administration.

| QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or related fields and a diverse and innovative teaching style is desirable. Rank is dependent upon level of experience.
