DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES The Instructor/Asst./Assoc. Professor of Voice /Opera will report to the Chair of Music. He or she will teach applied voice lessons, vocal pedagogy, vocal diction, and direct the lyric opera production. Additional teaching responsibilities may include other courses within the candidate’s areas of expertise. The candidate is expected to participate fully in departmental recruitment activities, promoting the Department within the state and nationally, committee service, grantsmanship, and research obligations consistent with all faculty appointments

| QUALIFICATIONS
A graduate degree in vocal performance and/or pedagogy is required; a completed doctorate is required for tenure-track appointment and rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The successful candidate will be expected to continue a research agenda and participate in service activities.
