DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES |
The Director of Academic Computing will report to the Senior Director of Information Technology. Responsibilities include analyzing current University operations and providing leadership in streamline business processes; maintaining database integrity, security, upgrades and the day-to-day operations of the University’s ERP program; and designing and implementing a reporting system for all levels of University’s information. He/she will serve on various administrative campus committees responsible for the continued improvement of administrative operations; provide extensive application, technical and telephone support to University personnel; and perform other duties as requested.

| QUALIFICATIONS |
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus two years of experience is required. Master’s degree preferred. Candidate must have considerable knowledge of MS SQL 2000 and 2005; stored procedure scripting and object oriented programming; Jenzabar and Powerfaids software and MS Office 2003 or higher. Incumbent must have the ability to work independently, be self-motivated and possess commendable leadership skills.
