| DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES |
Report to the Assistant Vice President for Major and Planned Gifts. The Director of Foundations and Corporate Relations will plan and implement a program aimed at securing major gifts; establishing partnerships and maintaining contact with foundations, corporations, industries, businesses, and vendors; and working with federal reports. Work closely with the Advancement Team in recruiting and training volunteers for the University; establish annual goals for uncovering new foundation and corporate prospects; and establish a program designed to increase the size of gifts and to secure repeat gifts. Establish a program designed to generate sponsorships for the presidential scholarship gala, annual scholarship appreciation program and other programs of the University. Perform other duties as assigned by the President, Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Assistant Vice President for Major and Planned Gifts.

| QUALIFICATIONS |
A master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred with at least five years of experience in corporate relations or equivalent experience. Candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Applicant must have demonstrated ability to work well with colleagues in a team effort. Successful candidate must be able to travel extensively.
