Delta Founders' Day on opening day
By ASHLEIGH HARRIOTT
On Jan. 13, 2014, the ladies of a Delta Sigma Theta celebrated their 101st Founders' Day.
The Gamma Chi Deltas on the campus of Claflin University started off their Founders' Week with a Founders' Day March. Even though it was the first day of classes and students were tired and trying to get back on their regular school schedule, many made time to be a part of what was going on.
These Devastating Divas are a huge part of our school's Greek life and support from our fellow students as they hosted and continue to host their events confirm this. We're all waiting to see what these ladies have in store and I'm quite sure they will not disappoint! Happy Founders' Day and we wish you many more!

The Devastating Divas of Delta Sigma Theta weren't the only ones celebrating Founders' Day this week.
The lovely ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. celebrated 106 years on Wednesday. They also kicked off their celebration with a Founders' Day march around the yard.
The ladies of Zeta Phi Beta celebrated 94 years Thursday.
Claflin University appreciates all the hard work and service each sorority contributes to the community. Thank you ladies! Happy Founders' Day to you all!
