CAMPUS LIFE: Queen of Kappa City

The brothers of the Gamma Nu Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. ended their quest for the next Queen of Kappa City at the Miss Kappa Alpha Psi pageant on Feb. 26.

The former Miss Kappa Alpha Psi 2013-14, Jerilyn Gamble, took her final walk and passed on her crown to contestant #2, Jordan Nicole Barnes, a freshman biology major from Rock Hill.

Other contestants were Shari-Zhane Harvin-Lanley (sophomore sports management major), Angelique Mone Foster (junior biology major) and Dahlia Mallett (junior business management major). The young ladies were judged upon their business attire, beachwear, casual attire, talent, formal wear and questioning portion.

Contestant #1, Shari Lanley, earned the title of Miss Phi Nu Pi. Angelique Foster, Contestant #3, is the new Miss Gamma Nu. The fourth contestant, Dahlia Mallett, earned the title of Miss 1911.

Congratulations to these young ladies on entering the new Kappa Court!
