Unfortunately, at least 60% of Americans die without a will. When this happens, matters are often let to the probate court to determine what will happen to a person’s valuable possessions and these courts may make decisions as to what will happen to minor children.
Please join us! “Providing for yourself and your loved ones” is a Wills/Legacy seminar sponsored by Claflin University. The free event is open to the public and will outline essentials of will planning and the information may enable you to save taxes and help family members as well as one’s favorite charity. Persons will be taught how to access a comprehensive workbook on Will planning.
A featured speaker for the event is Attorney Thomas Sims of Orangeburg, SC, who will be available to answer questions related to will development in South Carolina.
