FALL 2007 REGISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENT Regular Registration Schedule: Thursday August 16, 2007 8:00am – 8:00pm Friday August 17, 2007 9:00am – 5:00pm Saturday August 18, 2007 9:00am – 1:00pm Classes begin Monday, August 20, 2007
Dear Student, Greetings from If you have pre-registered for the 2007 fall semester, you should have received your Schedule/Estimated Charge Sheet and Student Data Form. The University considers a student to be officially registered if the student has satisfied the items listed below: I. Cleared the Business Office to complete his or her financial responsibilities. II. Financial Aid or Scholarship recipients must be awarded enough funds to cover the cost printed on the Assessment Sheet. Otherwise, the student must pay in full or arrange a payment plan with the Business Office. III. Obtained an ID card (“Panther Card”). IV. Updated and returned his or her Student Data form. V. Completed the Vehicle Registration Process (if applicable). If you did not pre-register, please contact your advisor or department chair for advisement. The appropriate departmental representative will enter your approved classes into the Campus Web and give you an Assessment Sheet and Student Data Form. You will also need to complete the following steps: I. Clear the Business Office to complete your financial responsibilities. II. Financial Aid or Scholarship recipients must be awarded enough funds to cover the cost printed on the Assessment Sheet. Otherwise, the student must pay in full or arrange a payment plan with the Business Office. III. Obtain an ID card (“Panther Card”). IV. Update and return your Student Data form. V. Complete the Vehicle Registration Process (if applicable). Please note the following: · Students receiving any type of financial aid, including scholarships can view their aid by going to www.claflin.edu, click on Quick Link, and click on My Financial Aid @ Claflin. If you have not received your financial aid ID and PIN number, please contact the Financial Aid Office (803-535-5344) or email financial aid@claflin.edu. · Students paying tuition and other fees by cash, credit card, or an institutional payment plan must have their Schedule/Estimated Charges approved at the Cashier’s Window. Personal checks will not be accepted. · Students may pick up their “Panther Cards” in the Activity Room located in the · Funds for books may be transferred to a student’s “Panther Card” at the Cashier’s Window. · Vehicle Registration is a two-step process. Decals must be purchased at the Cashier’s Window, $25.00 for day students and $15.00 for evening students. The receipt must then be taken to the Office of Campus Safety and Security located in the lower level of the High-rise Residential Hall. Decals will be issued upon completion of a Vehicle Registration form. · “Late Registration” will begin on August 20, 2007 and continue through August 24th. Students participating in “Late Registration” will be assessed a $50.00 fee. Note: If there are special reasons or circumstances which will prevent you from attending Ms. Katherine Boyd at kboyd@claflin.edu or contact the Office of Enrollment Management at (803-535-5719) by August 18, 2007. |
