MBA Graduate Student, Ms. Nikita Huggins, (R) and Interim MBA Director Dr. Munir Hassan with awards.

Ms. Nikita Huggins, a graduate student in the School of Business at Claflin University, along with Ms. Katrina Knight from the School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics were recipients of the "School -to -Work Internship Program" Award on July 20th 2007 at Benedict College in Columbia, SC.

The program was sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration and the South Carolina Department of Transportation. Ms Huggins completed her research project under the guidance of her mentor, Dr. Munir Hassan, Interim Director of the MBA program. Her outstanding work has resulted in an attractive job offer in the transportation sector.

The program also recognized Clalfin Univesity President,  Dr. Henry N. Tisdale and Dr. Munir Hassan, with awards for Ms. Huggins and Ms. Knight’s achievements.
