Benedict Defeats Claflin in Volleyball Action

Orangeburg, SC- The Benedict Lady Tigers defeated the Pantherettes of Claflin University 26-30, 32-34,32-34, in volleyball action, Monday evening in the Edward L. Tullis arena, on the campus of Claflin University.

Camilla Miller led the Lady Tigers offense with 13 kills as Brittany Rouse tallied 16 assists.

The Pantherettes were led by Shavonna Andrews with a game high 15 kills, and Sheena Johnson added 30 assists.

The Panthereetes will be in action September 15^th as Claflin travels to Augusta GA to take on the Paine Lady Lions. Claflin’s next home game will be on September 17^th when Fort Valley State will be the opponent.
