FORT VALLEY RALLIES PAST CLAFLIN 

Orangeburg, SC- Fort Valley State University defeated Claflin University (1-7) 24-30, 23-30, 30-27, 23-30 in volleyball action, on Monday evening.

Pacing the Lady Wildcats of Fort Valley State: Latoya Reeves with 25 kills, and Raven Wynn with 15 kills. Sherrian Norris had 54 assists for Fort Valley State.

Claflin was led by Shavonna Andrews with 12 kills and 10 digs, Tashia Stewart added 11 kills. Sheena Johnson contributed 30 assists for the Pantherettes.

The Pantherettes will be in action on September 26, 2007 at Voorhees College in Denmark, SC, at 6:00 p.m.
