Lady Panthers Cruise to 5^th Victory

The Lady Panthers (5-1) up by just 4 points at the break (35-31) extended their lead by using an 18-6 run to go up by 15 points 52-37 at the 11:00 mark. With the Lady Panthers again dominating the boards and going on an 8-3 run pushed their lead to 19 points 60-41 at the 5 minute mark to go in the game. CU’s largest lead would come at the 2:00 mark 21 points 68-47. The Lady would cruise the rest of the way, for their 5^th win of the season, 73-53.

Shanell Davis led the Lady Magicians with 13 points.

The Lady Panthers jumped out to a 15-2 lead at the 15:17 mark of the first half. The lady Magicians of Lemoyne-Owen College went on a 16-7 run to cut the Lady Panther lead to four points 22-18 with 7:45 to go in the first half. The Lady Magicians were not finished as hey went on another 11-7 run to knot the score at 29 at the 3:00 mark. However a 6-2 run to end the first half saw the Lady Panther ahead by 4 points 35-31. Cicely Jenkins led the Lady Panthers with 8 fist half points. Shanell Davis had 8 points for LOC.

The Lady Panthers had balanced scoring for the third consecutive game, as Jayshaun Bailey led the way with 13 points. Brittani Martin, Latoya Savage, and Donisha Albert scored 11 points each. Ashley Sorrell Gibson and Cicely Jenkins contributed 10 points apiece
