Events Setup Services

Space and Venue Assignments:  Requests for university space will be taken into consideration; however, spaces will be scheduled based on priority, the needs of the event, and the most efficient use of space.

All activities and/or events held on campus by clubs/organizations or departments must complete both sides of the Activity/Building Request form.  Please return the form to the Office of Residential Life or email to Luvette Haigler and copy Rebecca Hubbard .  Once the request is approved by the committee, Ms. Hubbard can confirm the availability of the facility.  No setup will be done without receipt of fees paid from the University Cashier (803.535.5432 or 803.535.5602).  Setups for non-university events will also incur fees for custodial and sound system setup to be paid to Sodexo.

After your setup has been completed you will be sent a customer service survey by email.  Please take a few minutes to complete this short survey which will be used to ensure improvements with future event setups.


Please go to to schedule move requests.  Include the requestor’s name and contact phone number, target move date, move from and move to locations and number of items (furniture, boxes, etc.) to be moved.   Once a work order number is assigned the requestor will be contacted by email confirming the date and time the move is scheduled to take place.  Please allow at least 5 business days for a move request to be processed.
