To continue improving our processes and making things more convenient for our Students, Faculty, and Staff, Information Technology has purchased and made available Microsoft Office 365 for Education. Office 365 enables you to access your Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, a convenient "One Drive" storage space and several other products over the web on any device as well as the opportunity to download full versions of Microsoft Office to use on PC's, Macs, Tablets, Phones, etc. We have setup a synchronized "Single-Sign On" allowing you to utilize your Claflin University Email address as your login name and the university network password you have already been using. On the first time sign in, you will be given the opportunity to setup an alternate email address and cell phone to allow you to unlock your account and reset your password, even if it was expired. No need to contact Information Technology to accomplish any of these tasks.
Note: Over the next few weeks, Information Technology will be migrating all current student mailboxes from our on-premise Microsoft Exchange environment to the Office 365 Cloud services.
