Claflin University has planned a homecoming like never before -- and those doing the planning want you to enjoy it.

Student Activities Board President Raymond Johnson and Konist Davis-Johnson, SAB adviser and Homecoming Committee chair, sat down to talk about what they hope will be a memorable week.

"Enjoy your homecoming experience because we worked really hard at every event to make sure it’s the best so you all can have fun," Davis-Johnson said. "I’m not gone tell you all not to turn up but don’t turn it on high. So, turn but turn on medium.”

This year’s homecoming will start on Sunday, Nov. 10. The activities kick off at 3 p.m. with the crowning of Miss Homecoming in Ministers' Hall, followed by the Gospel Explosion at 6 p.m. in WVM. Sunday’s activities will end with a homecoming kickoff.

"After we praise him, at 9 o’clock we're going to turn up in the gym with the Bring the Jungle Out homecoming kickoff,” Davis- Johnson said.
