Housing and Residential Life

Living on campus is an important part of college life, not to mention your personal growth. At Claflin, we are dedicated to making that experience a comfortable, convenient and happy one.

Campus Housing

The residence halls of Claflin University will become your home base as you launch your college life, experience new things, explore your interests and make new friends. We will do everything we can to help you make your time here exciting and productive.

Eleven residence halls offer different types of housing, from traditional rooms to suite-style apartment living. Upper-class and honors students are given priority in choice of accommodations.

Applying for Housing

The Residential Life Handbook is your essential guide to living in the residence halls. In it, you will find information about services, facilities, procedures and regulations. When you sign your housing contract, you also agree to abide by the terms of this handbook, which is a part of the agreement. Please read it carefully!

If you're an incoming freshman, you apply for housing through the Office of Admissions. If you're an incoming transfer or graduate student, you can download an application and return it to us by mail.

Please complete the form and return it to the address listed on the form. (You will not be able to save the form electronically, so be sure to print it off after you have filled it in.)
