TRIO Student Support Services.
TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) is a project that is 100% funded by the U.S. Department of Education under the Higher Education Act of 1965. TRIO SSS has been providing services to Claflin University students since 1970.
Built for Graduation.
TRIO SSS is designed to assist first generation, income qualified, and/or students with disabilities with the successful completion of their post-secondary education. The goal of the program is to increase the retention and graduation rates of its participants.
TRIO SSS students have high retention rates, meaning that they are more likely to complete their academic programs. The extra support students receive through SSS helps them become more successful in achieving their academic goal.
Who Can Apply.
Any student who has been accepted for enrollment or who is currently enrolled at the institution is invited to apply.
