Claflin University Homecoming Tickets Now Available Online

Oct 21, 2013

Getting tickets to several of Claflin University’s 2013 Homecoming events is just a click away.

This year, Homecoming guests can purchase Panther basketball and annual Greek Step Show tickets online by visiting www.claflin.edu and clicking on Homecoming 2013 under Quick Links. There they will find a link to purchase homecoming tickets along with an up-to-date schedule of events, alumni information, photo gallery, and other pertinent Homecoming information. Tickets may also be purchased by visiting the University’s Athletics webpage, athletics.claflin.edu, and clicking the “Tickets” button at the top of the page, then selecting the “Individual Tickets” option.

Also available are season tickets, which can be purchased by choosing the “Season Packages” option.

Homecoming game tickets are $20 for general admission and $25 for reserved seating. Student tickets are $15. Step Show tickets are $20 for general admission, $15 for students. Options are available to print your tickets at home, send them to your mobile phone or pick them up at “Will Call” in the Jonas T. Kennedy Health and Physical Education Center on game day.

The University is working with online ticket vendor Vendini to offer this convenient option. All major credit cards – including Visa, American Express, MasterCard and Discover – will be accepted, and an email address is required to purchase the tickets online. A confirmation receipt will be sent to the email address provided.

Once the venue is booked, tickets will no longer be sold.

“Online ticket purchasing will prevent ticket duplication and help with accountability, allowing us to make sure we meet, but do not exceed, capacity requirements,” said Dr. Jerome Fitch, Claflin’s director of athletics.

Also new this year, when they arrive at the Homecoming game ticketholders will receive a wristband that will allow them access in and out of the venue. However, attendees will not be allowed back inside if they lose the band or if it is broken or damaged.

“With the wristbands, guests will be able to enjoy the game and tailgate at their leisure, offering them an even fuller Homecoming experience,” Dr. Fitch said. “We are excited to offer these options to our Claflin University family and Homecoming guests.”
