The Office of Student Engagement & Leadership enhances the Claflin University student experience by cultivating meaningful opportunities for engagement, leadership, connection, service, and belonging.

Through intentional programs, student organizations, leadership development, campus traditions, and advising, OSEL empowers students to discover their potential, build community, and positively impact Claflin University and the communities they serve.

We advise

Student Leadership at the Center.

OSEL provides advising, leadership development, administrative support, and mentorship to Claflin’s primary student leadership organizations.

Student Government Association

The representative voice of the student body, supporting advocacy, shared governance, elections, forums, and campus initiatives.

Student Activities Board

Student leaders who bring the Hilltop to life through entertainment, traditions, late-night programming, and cultural and social experiences.

National Pan-Hellenic Council

The coordinating council for Claflin’s historically Black Greek-letter fraternities and sororities.
