Kyhree Gray wins award for Panther Fest photo

Claflin mass communications student Kyhree Gray earned a second-place award for best photograph for his image of junior Deanna Oliver enjoying riding the mechanical bull during Panther Fest in fall 2017.
The photo was published by The Panther, Claflin's student newspaper.
The award was announced during the South Carolina Press Association's annual collegiate conference on April 20 at Winthrop University.
Gray's photography competed in division for colleges and universities with under 5,000 enrollment.
