What is the Call Me MiSTER Program?

Call Me MiSTER (Mentors Instructing Students Toward Effective Role Models) is a nationally acclaimed teacher recruitment and preparation program designed to increase the number of highly qualified teachers in South Carolina public schools.

History

Founded in 2001, Call Me MiSTER was created to address the critical shortage of minority male teachers in America’s classrooms.
