Aria Dillard To Be Crowned Miss Claflin University

aria-dillard-claflinThe coronation of Aria Lauren Dillard as Miss Claflin University for the 2015-2016 academic year will be held in the W. V. Middleton Fine Arts Center on Friday, October 2 at 7 p.m. The theme for the coronation is  "Timeless – Showcasing The Great Gatsby Era, 1920’s – 1950’s.”

Dillard, a native of Detroit, Mich., is a senior majoring in business management.  She has held a number of student leadership positions, including a member on the Student Code of Conduct Judicial Board, Hats and Gloves Tea Planning Committee, School of Business Advisory Board and the Food and Nutrition Committee.  

She is a member of the Claflin University Concert Choir and served as the choir’s chaplain for two years.   She holds the distinction of serving as class president both as a sophomore and as a junior.

 Admission is free and open to the public.
