Dr. Leo Twiggs, '56, will be featured in a segment this evening at 6:30 p.m. (EST) on CBS Evening News in response to the terror attack in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Twiggs’ work, “Requiem for Mother Emanuel,” will be mentioned in the segment. "Requiem for Mother Emanuel" is a series of nine paintings that serve as testimonies to nine African-American parishioners who were murdered by a white gunman on June 17, 2015, at historic Emanuel AME Church in Charleston.
