Annually, Claflin University, the Downtown Orangeburg Revitalization Association and Century 21 The Moore Group present Handel's Messiah at the Stevenson Auditorium in Downtown Orangeburg. The holiday musical has been presented by Claflin since 1997, and the choral group consists of members of the Orangeburg community, Claflin employees and members of the University's Concert Choir.
