Claflin Baseball to be Honored by the Orangeburg City Council

The 2016 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) baseball champions Claflin University will be honored today, Tuesday, May 17 at 7 p.m. by the Orangeburg City Council.
The honor will take place during the council meeting which will be held at City Hall Auditorium in downtown Orangeburg.
Claflin captured the SIAC Championship on May 1 after defeating the No. 1 overall seeded Stillman College twice. The Panthers will face the No. 2 seed West Florida in the 2016 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship South Regional at 3 p.m. this Thursday (May 19) at the University of Tampa, Tampa, Florida.
